LISNAVE has joined the CHAlleNGE 4S project

CHAllenGE 4S “Challenge transition for a shipbuilding sector smart skills change” is a new project started in January 2023 and funded by the Erasmus+ Program.

The project involves the collaboration of 8 partners from 4 European countries, accompanied by 3 high-level international associate partners and it is developed within the framework of the Pact for Skills in shipbuilding (P4S Shipbuilding) and will involve a diverse range of stakeholders contributing to the lifecycle phases, from design to construction and subsequent operation and

maintenance. The goal is to provide a response in terms of skills and workforce requalification to the challenges related to new digital technologies.

The approach consists of developing and implementing three targeted pilot training actions that address three different topics related to digitization in shipbuilding. The activities and related skills cover different EQF levels, and each pilot project is implemented in a target country in collaboration with a training institution and a sector actor.

Maritime Technology Cluster FVG

Cluster based in north east of Italy and reference player for maritime technologies for the region Friuli Venezia Giulia. Project coordinator, brings the perspective from the Italian industry and business level for implementation of project activities.

EnAIP FVG

Based in north east of Italy, is one of the leading VET providers of the region. Partner of the project and WP3 leader, contributes to designing and implementation of the education paths for the Italian territory.

Turku University of Applied Sciences

One of the leading universities of applied sciences in Finland. Partner of the project and leader of WP2, brings the perspective of a higher education provider for the maritime domain in Finland.

Machine Technology Center Turku

Manufacturing and research and development center based in Turku. Partner of the project, brings the perspective of the region’s manufacturing industry and other connected players.

Foro Maritimo Vasco

Reference maritime cluster for the Basque region, is partner and leader of WP4. Brings the perspective of the industrial and business sector for implementation of project activities.
