Piping Repairs

The vast quantity of pipes aboard ships’ of all types, and in particular the extensive piping found on tankers, gas carriers etc., mean that repair and replacement of pipes and valves is an important activity of any repair yard.

Pipe shops at Lisnave are fully equipped with machinery to allow even the most extensive and complicated pipe repairs to be undertaken in such areas as cargo, ballast, heating coils and hydraulic systems and retrofitting of equipment and systems to meet the requirements of new regulations.

During the last years Lisnave has successfully retrofitted on board of different types and sizes of vessels a large number of Water Ballast Treatment Systems of different technologies (UV, Chemicals, Ectrodialysis, Electrolitic Cell Type) and  from a large number of makers (Alfa Laval, Wartsila, JFE, Ecochlor, Erma First, Techcross, Panasia, TeamTec and Miura).
