EMSA visits Lisnave

A delegation of technicians of EMSA (European Maritime Safety Agency), with headquarters in Lisbon, visited Lisnave Shipyards at Mitrena (Setúbal), on last 28th April.

In this visit, EMSA delegates saw “in situ” the shipyard activities and they had the chance of identify not only the Safety practices implemented at the Company, but also check the ones that are applied on board of vessels being repaired, in respect of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policy.

EMSA visita a Lisnave

Uma delegação de Técnicos da Agência Europeia de Segurança Marítima (EMSA), cuja sede está situada em Lisboa, visitou em 28 de Maio último, o Estaleiro da Lisnave na Mitrena (Setúbal).

Nesta visita, para além de “in locco” tomarem contacto com a realidade do estaleiro, os Técnicos da EMSA, tiveram a oportunidade de se identificar com as diversas práticas de Segurança implementadas na actividade da Empresa e com as que são definidas e aplicadas a bordo dos navios em reparação nos termos da Política de Segurança, Saúde e Higiene no Trabalho (HSE Policy).

Vietnamese Parliament Members visit Lisnave

Last September, a delegation of Parliament Members of the Vietnam National Assembly, headed by its Vice-President, Mr. Nguyen Duc Kien, visited Lisnave Shipyards facilities, at Mitrena, in Setúbal, where apart from a detailed visit to the company facilities, they tried to identify themselves with the actual Lisnave reality and with its potential in future.
