Lisnave stakes on Professional Training
Opens new working positions for youngsters

Concluding with success a complex concentration process of its activity on Mitrena Yard, at Setúbal, with its stakeholders structure stabilized and obtained a desired economic and financial balance to its operation, with motivator results, Lisnave, has surprised the market when, in 2006, recurred its tradition as a company turned to youngsters professional training and looking for its first job.

Lisnave announced in the beginning of March, 2006, the launch of a Youth Training Plan, as part of its strategy designed to face the future, with continuity conditions and sustainability in accordance with Lisnave notoriety and world prestige.

Launching this plan, Lisnave intended to begin a rejuvenation process of its permanent personnel and, also promote the personnel renewal from the industrial services companies that has been installing and working close to its site and assembling here an important cluster on the Setúbal Peninsula.

The Plan was characterised for its long duration and content generic aiming to prepare more qualified Workers, Multidisciplinary and more Flexible and gifted, answering to an eclectic program, and offering a high level of workability.

This ambitious Plan, whose program was presented to the API, in the Prime Program scope and lately revealed to the pres, anticipated a vast number of training courses with durations between 12 and 18 months, to be performed from 2006 and 2008, aiming 246 young people looking for its first job.

The Plan was estimated to 5,9 million Euros, and developed 22 training actions, between 1.700 and 2.400 hours of Multidisciplinary Training beginning at 13th March 2006.

One year past, and Lisnave announce, with particular satisfaction, that the first of those multidisciplinary actions was concluded the past 5Th of March, in the speciality of Naval and Mechanic Fitters and , on the 19th March, the firs action of Machine Tools Operators.

In accordance with the program, Lisnave informs that another 110 youngsters had began training, and it is planned that the remaining training actions will end, one each month, after next April.

Facing to good qualification level attained, Lisnave invited each of the trainees that finished well those two actions, and signed contracts with 14 of these youngsters, for an initial term of one year.
